Position: Exploration Geologist
Location: Rocky Brook Project, NB; Humber Project, NL; St. John’s, NL
Duration: August 2025 to December 2025
Salary: $375/day to $425/day depending on experience level, negotiable
Purpose of Role:
Magna Terra Minerals Inc. is looking for an Exploration Geologist for a four-month term with the possibility of contract extension on future projects. The work will be conducted on the Company’s Rocky Brook Project in the prolific Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick, and Humber Project in western Newfoundland and Labrador. Work will be on a rotational basis, 2 weeks on-site, 1 week break, 1 week office work. The Company will reimburse for travel, meals, accommodation, and any other mutually agreed upon work-related expenditures. The candidate will have a minimum of a B.Sc. degree in Earth Sciences and 4-5 years experience in the mineral exploration industry.

Duties/Qualifications:
- Strong commitment and knowledge of best environmental practices within the industry as well as to safety culture and practices;
- Promote good will, mutual respect and a positive working environment for all team members and the greater Exploration Team;
- Ability to work with a broad group of professionals and non-professionals including prospectors, geologists, and contractors as well as the general public within both the business community and government;
- A knowledge of QGIS, or equivalent software, and MS Office suite; Knowledge of Leapfrog as well as field-based apps such as Fulcrum and Avenza is an asset;
- Valid driver’s licence with good driving record;
- First aid and ATV training certification is an asset;
- Available for rotational field work on the Company’s multiple projects in New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador, 2 weeks on-site, 1 week break, 1 week office work;
- Manual handling and lifting (must be able to lift 50 lbs for extended periods)
- Work with the exploration team to assist with the planning, implementation, and efficient completion of exploration programs that coincide with corporate goals;
- Collect field data and review field data collection methods by other Magna Terra employees and contractors to ensure adherence to best practices and maintaining a focus on the short-term purpose and the long-term significance of the data being collected;
- Conduct field investigations through mapping, prospecting, trenching, channel sampling, logging core and other data collection and analysis following established Company procedures to advance projects as required; and
- Contribute to the preparation of various exploration reports, including completing daily, and monthly reports as required. Develop reports utilizing a sequence of data compilation, analysis, and QA/QC.
